Position: Senior IT Engineer (3rd Line & Projects)
2 Year Fixed Term Contract Based in Central London

The Senior IT Engineerworks as part of the IT support team with 2x IT Technical Support and reports to the IT Manager. The role will play a key part in both the planning and delivery of the company's internal projects, providing technical expertise for IM projects as professionally managing and delivering IT projects. Strong communication is essential in ensuring that key stakeholders are kept informed of progress as well as the IT manager through regular catchups.
The Senior IT Engineer will use their superior experience and knowledge to provide technical support for the UK property developers internal service desk and project workstreams. The role's primary function is to act as a point of escalation within the support team for incidents across all their technologies. Working together with the IT Manager, wider Information Systems team, and 3rd party suppliers to deliver your work and resolve incidents in an efficient manner, ensuring good communication with the end users via the service desk tool.
The Senior IT Engineer is also responsible for managing problem cases, analysing events and logs, conducting research, and working with external vendors where required to identify root causes and implement fixes.
Skills and Attributes
A motivated self-starter comfortable working under own initiative.
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving with a logical, methodical, and holistic approach to solutions.
Strong written and oral communicator with excellent influencing skills; able to build effective relationships and consensus across the business to deliver successful outcomes.
Ability to think critically, ask questions and quickly understand technical issues using a broad knowledge of technologies.
Ability to distil data, research, and present insight with clear recommendations.
Takes pride in delivering work to a high standard.
Azure, Intune, Windows Virtual Desktop
Active directory, Group policy
SharePoint, CRM, Exchange, SQL, IIS, SCCM
Patching, Antivirus, PowerShell
Server Management - Monitoring, troubleshooting, testing restorations.
Strong IT service management experience.
Experience of Service Now platform.
ITIL foundation qualified (preferable).
