An opportunity has arisen at this 'Outstanding in Every Aspect' rated Independent School for a Cashier and Finance Assistant to join our friendly Finance department. The role will be part job share as cashier responsible for the processing of receipts, payments, bank and cash reconciliations and part finance assistant. The finance assistant role will be responsible for credit card management, assisting with the preparation and posting of extras charges onto the billing ledger, assisting with any queries from parents and providing cover for purchase ledger and preparation of BACS payments.
Our Finance department is a busy and efficient team and we are looking for someone to assist with the smooth running of the department with a background in bookkeeping, accounts or finance/banking. It is essential that the successful person has excellent organisational, time management and attention to detail skills, is a good communicator and is competent using Excel to a good standard.

This role is a permanent position working 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm), all-year round with a starting salary of £23,300 per annum.
