We are seeking an experienced individual to join our existing Finance Team providing an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills and professional experience. You will work as part of the team ensuring the operation of effective and accurate financial processes and systems.
Working closely with the Head of Finance and other members of the team your key responsibilities will include processing invoices for authorisation and payment and managing the payment run process via BACS as well as the operation of the payroll undertaking collation, input and updating of information. You will also support in other areas of the Finance function such as cash receipts and banking.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an accountancy or a financial accounting environment and will have experience in cash handling with a strong working knowledge of accounting software (such as Sage 50) and with advanced skills in MS Excel.
Strong organisational, collaborative working, and communication skills are key as well as the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
