REPAIR TEST TECHNICIAN, £9.73/HOUR, 39 HOUR WEEK, IMMEDIATE START, 28 DAYS LEAVE, PARKING

Position: Repair Test Technician

Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duration: Temporary with the opportunity of going permanent for the right candidate

Salary: £9.73per hour

Hours: Monday to Thursday

We are looking for a repair test technician to assist our National client to repair and test electronic equipment inline with functional specification and engineering drawings to a high quality and within the standard repair/test times defined to meet agreed deadlines for manufacturing/returns schedule. Ensure high standards of right first time, repair/test efficiency and service level are consistently achieved. Provide fast resolution to any assembly issues identified and ensure good levels of communication with Repair Team.

The role of the Repair Test Technician will be:

Responsible for repair and test of electronic equipment on-time and to the correct specification and quality standards.
Provide positive support to team members as required.
To adhere to UK Health and Safety Regulations and safe working practices.
To adhere to quality standards, factory rules and HR policies.
Ensure KPI targets for RFT, efficiency, cost and service are consistently achieved.
To make positive contribution to continuous improvement activities.
To adhere to all deadlines and targets set by Repair Team Leader.
Establish good working relationship with the Repair team and key members of Manufacturing.The requirements for the Repair Test Technician will be:

A good understanding of electronics repair / engineering disciplines, together with Health and Safety and quality standards is required.
Experienced in electronics repair, test and engineering experience within a relevant manufacturing environment, using best practice repair/test techniques.
Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
The individual to be a "driven", well disciplined, logical thinking, self motivated, team player, able to communicate at all levels and above all be highly "innovative" in delivering high standards in electronics repair/test work.
