IT Vendor Manager

Full time, Permanent | London (near Liverpool Street Station) | £60-70k + benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented IT Vendor Manager to join one of the largest investment banks in the world.

Role & Responsibilities:

The IT Vendor Manager will join the Divisional Vendor Management Office (DVMO) which is in charge of implementation of key elements of the framework, therefore ensuring the most efficient and effective execution of any sourcing event in full compliance with the group's policies and standards.

You will act as a support function to the Business Advisor Manager and Partner with the creation of MI and data extraction and reporting to drive better decision making. You will be responsible for ensuring business function adherence to bank-wide policies and processes and drive automation and self-service reporting creation.

Skills & Experience:

Knowledge of Data extraction, analytics and reporting and understanding of automation and self-service report creation
Ability to diagnose improvement areas across processes, tools and systems
Significant experience in IT departments and in business management
Understanding of vendor and contract management for new and existing engagement, including experience in running RfP (request for proposal), understanding of business case, financials, and key performance indicators
Financial Services experience
