A profitable and values-driven FTSE 250 retailer with a strong foothold in the technology sector is seeking an ambitious Procurement Manager to manage its Central Business Support spend.
Whilst the majority of this role will be focussed on shopfitting and FM, it would suit someone with experience buying Services.
Reporting to a Head of Procurement, you'll join a procurement team that is dynamic and agile and
heavily involved in major transformation projects across the enterprise.
What's more, you'll get the opportunity to establish and implement procurement category strategies in conjunction with key stakeholders and deliver annual cost-saving targets and challenges set by the business.
As Procurement Manager (Services) your key responsibilities will be:
Developing, implementing and managing sourcing strategies for the shopfitting and FM category, ensuring ongoing value for money and the delivery of innovative procurement solutions to the business
Delivering annual procurement targets and challenges, with responsibility for circa £50-£75m annual OPEX spend and 50+ suppliers
Providing procurement support to the wider business transformation
Supporting business functions and teams in managing spend
Supporting category reporting, savings tracking, and spend data tracking
Utilising procurement systems to ensure compliance to the business' procurement policies
Skills and experience:
Experience in a sourcing role at a FTSE 350 or large procurement function
Experience in indirect categories desirable (the shopfitting and FM category can be trained)
Proven ability to deliver significant cost savings
Effective relationship management with an ability to network and influence stakeholders at a Head of Function level
