Are you a graduate looking to further your experience supporting children who require social, emotional and behavioural support?

A diverse primary school in Hackney are looking to take on a new Year 6 Behavioural Mentor to continue to provide enthusiasm and energy in the classroom and support vulnerable children who need additional 1:1 focus.

Year 6 Behaviour Mentor Specification

You will be a committed graduate who has a good understanding of how to work with children. You must be passionate, resilient and empathetic to be able to support vulnerable and sometimes challenging young learners in this Year 6 Behaviour Mentor role.

The Year 6 Behaviour Mentor could include duties such as:

• Supporting children with SEMH needs in maths, literacy and social support
• Leading small intervention groups in the morning and afternoon
• Implementing EHCPs by the Hackney Learning & Clinical Commissioning Trust Group
• Speech & Language Support groups
• Assisting after school clubs
