An exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Assistant has arisen to work for a well-known and established organisation in Stamford, Lincolnshire on a part time basis. You will be working 20 hours a week, ideally 4 hours a day Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities will include: -
  • Processing invoices
  • Getting payment authorisation
  • Payment processing
  • Investigating purchase ledger queries - internal and external
  • Liaising with suppliers and employees/managers
  • Creating reports
  • Updating/maintaining supplier details
  • Processing expenses
  • Cashbook
  • Supplier statement recs
  • Uploading to online banking system
  • Working on main company purchase ledger and smaller subsidiaries

You must have: -

  • An understanding of the complexities of VAT partial exemption
  • Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience of using Sage 50 Pro
  • The ability to build effective working relationships
