Job Details

IT Project Manager (not infrastructure)

Platform Development Division

6 months

Cash and Banking Workstream

£500 a day

Platforms experience is always preferred, but has hired generalist FS who has similar experiences

Detail of task

Co-ordinate E2E plans and stakeholder engagement across all the Cash and Banking activities
Manage all Cash and Banking impacted TS2 delivery plans and critical path activities
Identify any gaps or blockers and ensure full mitigation
Manage RAIDs
Manage and facilitate all regular meetings i.e. monthly working group, fortnightly Platform/Finance Transformation working group, daily stand ups and touch points with respective areas such as process, SLA Finance, Phoenix, UAT etc
Manage any escalations required
Participate in senior stakeholder meetings when appropriate to provide E2E Cash and Banking progress update
External Party Stakeholder Engagement (Phoenix, SLA Finance and HSBC)
Create, track and monitor deliverables plans with 3rd parties
Ensure full engagement of respective areas through regular and ad-hoc meetingsA&D

Track and monitor progress of A&D completion - C&B items almost at the point of full completion
Track and monitor progress of items outside C&B that will have a direct/in-direct impact on C&B/CASS. This includes the management of resources and prioritisation of activities. List attached for reference.
Caveats/Assumptions/Dependencies
Primarily managed by POD lead however involved to ensure dependencies are agreed with all parties and being progressed as expectedProcesses

Create and manage deliverables i.e. workshops, output packs and sign off
Ensure full structure and stakeholder engagement is in place
Facilitate workshops where required to support finalisation of the E2E processes
Track progress with the team and ensure preparation activities are complete with SLA Finance, FNZ and Phoenix
Manage escalations to FNZ where require to ensure completion of deliverables i.e. outstanding actions and controls
Track definition of done activity and ensure full analysis of MAC list is complete
Ensure all requirements are defined and agreed with Phoenix
Involvement in CSA reviews to assess items that will need to continue with PhoenixBuild/Test

Monitor FNZ build progress and ensure full coverage of scope
Monitor test progress and escalate any blockers
Ensure full review of scope is completed and assessed against each test phase
Expectation is this will become more in-depth as we transition into UAT to support activities with PGH/SLA Finance to test the accounting files and Paragon for the cheques in/out files
CASS assurance test trackingBusiness Readiness

Track progress of procedural documentation, oversight & controls, training etc
Contribute during readiness reviews i.e. T-10 assessments
Prepare documentation to allow assessment to be completed on readiness
Ensure Operational cutover activities are managed respectively
Ensure hypercare requirements are fully detailed and entry/exit criteria is definedMigration

Ensure audit and rec requirements are defined
Support dress rehearsal approach definition
Support the dry run and dress rehearsal activitiesImplementation

Ensure technical cutover activities are defined
Support implementation approach activities i.e. black-out period reviews etc
Ensure requirements/Schedule of Events are defined for C&B
Support Go/No Give decisions
Support event preparation and weekend
Finalise remaining A&D activity with remaining caveats on FTP
Complete review and assessment of new SIPP B BSD
Ensure wider stakeholder review to assess completeness and support required for the testing activitiesBuild/Test

Monitor FNZ build progress and ensure full coverage of scope
Monitor test progress and escalate any blockers
