I am recruiting for two Team Leaders for my clients' Residential services in Ilford. One is an established Mental Health Service and one is a Brand-New Learning Disabilities service which is opening in the coming months. My client is a small but growing provider with services around the Ilford area, you will be joining a fantastic thriving service at a very exciting time.
Key Responsibilities of a Team Leader:
Ensuring that the team works together smoothly, knows and understand their roles and carry out duties according to their job descriptions.
Implementing the service user plans of all residents and assisting in formulating (as key-worker) service user plans. Evaluating the plans with discussion and input from the service user, and discussion with the manager.
In Manager's absence ensuring a report is made within 24 hours of the incident where needed - you will be expected to know how to respond to an emergency/crisis situation.
You will assist service users to maintain their independence and dignity by offering appropriate levels of practical assistance to enable their emotional, physical and spiritual needs to be met within the home and community.
Team Leader Requirements:
At least 1 year experience in the Health and Social Care sector either supporting Adults with Mental Health needs
At least 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity.
NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (required)
Driving License (preferred)
