Pertemps have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join our client for approximately 5-6 months, located in the heart of Plymouth.
Under the guidance of the project manager and as a member of the team, the Project Support Officer will be responsible for the delivery and continuous development of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient administrative support service.
Working within the Technology and Information Service team, you will also be responsible for transferring project knowledge to 1st and 2nd line support teams and assisting with project closure tasks.
Ensure the delivery and continuous development of an effective and flexible service
Review and monitor processes, procedures and associated documentation, implementing or making recommendations for changes as appropriate
Research, interpret and manipulate data using a variety of systems, analysing and highlighting issues for further analysis
Plan and administer complex meetings, visits, conferences, committees, and the associated budgets
Provide excellent customer service and provide proactive detailed advice and guidance to enable appropriate solutions
Provide guidance and deliver training on designated activities and associated policies and procedures
Collaborate with colleagues and peers across the business to plan and achieve joint projects and objectives
The succesful candidate will need to have experience in Administration, ideally within a project function, experience withint an IT environment and demonstrate self-leadership.
You must be confident liaising with customers face to face/by telephone/in writing, dealing with complaints and enjoy problem solving.
This role is located in central Plymouth, offering 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm for 5-6 months approximately and a pay rate of £11.76 - £15.00 per hour dependent on experience.
