Chelmsford- up to £22,200 p/a

We are working alongside one of the UK's leading providers of ophthalmic care. The aim is to help provide them with the staff needed to continue their journey on returning or improving the nation's vision. In a forever ageing population, we see more and more people suffering from eye-related issues such as cataracts, our client is doing everything they can to help this and prolong the sight of so many people.

What you need:

Experience as an Optical Assistant or similar role
6-12 months experience within an optical setting
Passionate about developing a career in Ophthalmology.
Ability to provide friendly high-quality care for patients in a caring manner
What you will do:

Working alongside the clinical team in the day to day running of the clinics
Carrying out diagnostic examinations including pre-and post-operative clinics
Preparing areas for clinical activity, ensuring all equipment is checked and ready for use
Act as an escort in Theatre supporting other clinical professionals and ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care during their surgery.
