This is an exciting opportunity to join First Rung - a dynamic community based learning charity in North London, to utilise a wide range of commercial skills and to develop the way our services support the training and development of young people.
The focus of this new role will be to produce compelling proposals to funders and partners in order to support the delivery of the new three year strategic plan.
The role is split into three key areas:
* Identifying and tracking opportunities with a strong strategic fit. Bidding directly for contracts and also managing external bid writers in developing successful bid submissions.
* Supporting operational excellence through identifying key partner/stakeholders, which will enhance our offer and improve performance.
* Take the lead on all bid development for: LEPs, ESFA, DWP, NCS, ESIF funding, Shared Prosperity Fund and any other appropriate sources of funding, including Trusts and Corporate organisations. Also, developing other funding streams and strategic alliances and partnerships including subcontracting arrangements. Through capture of local intelligence, designing local partnership strategy and engaging with key stakeholders.
First Rung's is ambitious to build on its successful 38 year track-record and maximise funding opportunities in order to support more young people across a broader area. This new role is a great opportunity to be part of this next phase.
First Rung is committed to having a diverse and inclusive workforce for staff and volunteers. We actively encourage applications from disabled, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates.
