Working on a three shift basis reporting to the Maintenance Group Leader the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all plant machinery and equipment runs to maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of electrical, mechanical and robotic equipment (including software programming).

Overall Purpose of the Role:

* Leading by example, manage the day to day workload for the maintenance team on shift ensuring an effective and efficient service is delivered and departmental targets are achieved, including the planning and resourcing of Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM's).

* Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the team of skilled Technicians.

* Provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating and overseeing their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and quality standards are met.

* Develop the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely.

The successful candidate will be multi-skilled ideally electrically biased, self-motivated, a strong confident motivator and leader, well organised, have excellent communication skills and have attention to detail together with excellent IT skills. PLC experience such as Siemens S5/S7 would be advantageous. Previous experience of leading and developing a team is essential.
