My client, one of UK's leading ecological & arboricultural Consultancy, is seeking a talented Arboricultural Consultant to join the team to support their business activities.
The successful candidate will be friendly, be able to manage their own time and will work with a variety of landowners from domestic scale, through to major infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an opportunity which will involve field work across Sudbury and Southern England.
This exciting role offers you the chance to be trained by a supportive and experienced team. You will be carrying out tree surveys and hazard assessments, amongst others. You will complete projects across Sudbury and the local area.
The successful candidate will:
Undertake Tree Surveys in accordance to BS5837.
Deal with Tree Preservation Order issues.
Help with supporting sales activities.
Undertake Arboricultural Impact Assessments.
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum NQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent in Arboriculture or Forestry
A good understanding of planning law, pest and diseases, fungi, tree identification and visual tree assessment.
Be highly competent with AutoCAD and GPS/GIS technology.
Be experienced in BS5837 surveys and development related work.
Have a current full clean UK driving license
