PR & Marketing Account Manager - Woking, Surrey
Salary DOE plus benefits
Employees will be required to work in the office, located in Woking, a minimum of three days a week from June. Remote working can then take place for a maximum of two days a week.
* Do you have a minimum of two years' PR and Marketing experience as an Account Manager / Account Executive or PR / Marketing Executive ideally within the hospitality, tourism and leisure sector?
* Are you educated to degree level (with qualifications in journalism, English, PR, marketing or communications preferable?)
* Are you an individual who would be willing to travel to events, exhibitions and meetings that may include overnight stays and weekends?
About our Client
Our client is a communications agency specialising in the hospitality, tourism and leisure industries. Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced PR & Marketing Account Manager to join their busy team.
The successful applicants' key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining ongoing detailed knowledge of clients' businesses, personnel, operating environment and market, including frequent site visits and face-to-face meetings
Helping to achieve monthly revenue targets while supporting optimising team resource efficiencies
Owning formalised client planning, monitoring and reporting both exposure and end-result bookings / revenue
Day-to-day execution of Marketing & PR programmes
Managing and optimising budgets for clients
Management and development of client account management team at Account Executive and Apprentice levels
Attending meetings and events with clients on a frequent basis
Maintaining an excellent knowledge of the media and build relationships with key press and influencers
Updating contact reports and update clients regularly by phone, in person and by email when required
Sourcing ideas for features, events, opinions and surveys on behalf of the clients
Maintaining knowledge of trends and news in the hospitality, tourism and leisure industries on a regular basis and provide information to the team during meetings
Ensuring all projects run to deadline and budget using the existing internal process
Researching and attending events to further develop your knowledge in Marketing, PR, Social Media and the industry
The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum of two years' PR and Marketing experience as an Account Manager / Account Executive or PR / Marketing Executive ideally within the hospitality, tourism and leisure sector
Be educated to degree level and qualifications in journalism, English, PR, marketing or communications preferable
Be required to work from our client's office in Woking during work hours. They do offer flexible working allowing you to work from home up to two days a week. You will also be asked to travel to events, exhibitions and meetings that may include overnight stays and weekends
Have excellent written communication
Have strong digital strategy experience

Have thorough knowledge of media and influencers
