The Systems Engineer role will be to initally work to define the Electronic Warfare elements of the support solution for the European Common Radar Solution (ECRS) contract.
The ideal candidate will have experience of developing and integrating a new capability, and be familiar with requirements from a mission data or operational perspective. It would also be advantageous if the candidate has experience in supporting the UK customer and is familiar with how this customer operates.
Supporting supplier and customer workshops
Scoping EW mission data requirements for rig and flight test activities
Supporting the Radar EDR in the definition of the ECRS Mk2 ICD
Supporting the definition of the Test and Qualification Strategy for ECRS
Supporting the ECRS EW Lead and ECRS Air Service Lead in the review of Avionics and Air Service ECRS documentationAcademic/Technical Knowledge
Degree educated in a science/engineering discipline or HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
SysML MBSE ExperienceDesirable
