Procurement Manager

Stourbridge

£40,000 to £45,000 Dependant on Experience + Profit Share Scheme + Employee Discount Scheme + Free Health Support + 23 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday

37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday (Early Finish on a Friday)

Procurement Manager sought in a highly successful FMGC manufacturer boasting worldwide logistical networks and a long history of quality and innovation offering company bonuses and employee discount!

The Procurement Manager role will suit an experienced Procurement Manager or Procurement Supervisor/Team Leader with CIPS qualification OR strong experience within a Procurement role. You will have experience overseeing a small team and issuing appraisals/disciplinaries where necessary. You will have exposure to improving and streamlining processes to increase efficiency and be confident to make changes when needed. The ideal candidate will have experience negotiating prices and sourcing new suppliers/products/stock. Any exposure to international and/or EU import laws will be advantageous but not essential.

The core function of the Procurement Manager role will be to manage 3 people in the sourcing team and 5 people in the purchasing team. You will issue appraisals/disciplinaries and have full reign over the processes involved with these teams. The client would like processes to be improved and streamlined and providers changed where needed.

The Procurement Manager Role:

* Manage 3 people in the sourcing team and 5 people in the purchasing team and issue appraisals/disciplinaries where needed

* Oversee and streamline processes

* Negotiate with new and old suppliers to get best prices and lead times on products

The Person:

* Experienced Procurement Manager or Procurement Supervisor/Team Leader with CIPS qualification OR strong experience within a Procurement role

* Experience overseeing a small team and issuing appraisals/disciplinaries where necessary

* Exposure to improving and streamlining processes to increase efficiency and be confident to make changes when needed

* Experience negotiating prices and sourcing new suppliers/products/stock

* Exposure to international and/or EU import laws will be advantageous but not essential
