Communities Coordinator Responsibilities:
You will be approaching GP practices, organisations, groups and individuals and encouraging them to take action. You will be encouraging new, and supporting current, Dementia Friendly Community groups to work towards being recognised as an Alzheimer's Society's Dementia Friendly Community.
The role involves supporting Dementia Friendly Community groups to consult with people with dementia and carers on their priorities locally. You will be promoting a better understanding of the condition across communities in order to reduce stigma and discrimination and promote independence for people living with dementia.
Communities Coordinator Requirements:
You will be confident speaking to a group and able to get people on board. You will be well-organised and flexible with good time management skills. The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level or above, with good interpersonal and communication skills. You will be able to travel across Hertfordshire.

Salary: £13,688.40 to £14,241 actual per annum (depending on skills and experience
