IT Project Manager

Salary: £depending on experience

Type: Part time - 22.5 hrs

Location: Teddington

Remarkable Jobs are currently working with a multinational organisation with presence in 21 countries, providing a range of products and services to customers across a number of end markets including Pharmaceuticals, Agricultural Biotechnology, Food, Environment, Government and Academia.

The IT Project Manager will lead the delivery of IT Projects and/or system changes to ensure business requirements are met and delivered to plan, budget and quality expectations.

'IT Project Manager' Key Responsibilities:

Communicate and liaise with end users in specified teams and Corporate IT to ensure effective delivery of project and/or system changes.
Ensure project requirements are clearly articulated and prioritised
Evaluate and manage project risks
Manage the delivery of projects to key project milestones and the defined project requirements.
Matrix manage internal IT resources, business resources and third party suppliers, ensuring resources understand their responsibilities and deliverables
Provide update reports to Senior leadership teams
Attend corporate IT meetings when necessary
Manage IT project finances against budgets
Manage service transition to end user teams
Support on IT related matters such as networking and data management
'IT Project Manager' Key Skills:

Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the same / similar role
Experienced in managing business change elements for IT projects; covering business engagement and communications planning to a diverse workforce.
Experience with delivering IT deployment projects.
Experienced in delivery of application development, application support and/or infrastructure projects
Very collaborative approach - able to consider opinions of others, comfortable making informed decisions and able to get buy-in from team and colleagues
Able to manage conflicting priorities and be able to manage project issues as they arise.
Must be able to motivate teams to deliver to projects.
Good general IT infrastructure technical knowledge would be advantageous.
Knowledge/qualifications of the following would be advantageous: Prince2, Agile, ITIL, security and data protection (GDPR)
An interest/enthusiasm for science beneficial
