Job Role: Accounts Payable Team Leader

Location: New Milton

Job Sector: Finance

Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday

As the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will contribute to our vision of being the UKs favourite property manager by:

Providing support, training and guidance to all members of the Accounts Payable team
Use your strong communication skills to build relationships with internal & external stakeholders

This role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and has a team of up to 6 direct reports.

As you have a flexible approach, you are able to use your initiative in problem solving as well as want to resolve complaints.

Main Responsibilities

Overall supervision of team members for the Accounts Payable function. Including but not limited to, performance management, employee relations, maintain any department records allocated etc.
To be responsible for ensuring that new and existing team members are adequately skilled for their roles
Ensure compliance with CIS regulation and other regulatory bodies
Responsible for recruitment and selection of team members
Dealing with correspondence and telephone enquiries arising from Accounts Payable activity
Ensuring that accounting files and records are kept up to date and in good order
Ongoing review of processes and procedures
Set an example for others by championing the Company FIRST values, Customer Charter principles and the Code of Business Conduct
Any other ad-hoc duties as required within the Estates Finance function
