Our client is England's premier co-educational international boarding school set in the heart of the Shropshire countryside, with 600 students aged 13-18. With over 40 nationalities represented amongst their students, they enjoy a wonderfully diverse environment with a strong community feel and decency, trust and respect at their core.

They wish to appoint a Senior College Nurse to lead and work as part of a team of seven nurses and four healthcare assistants who assist in promoting health and wellbeing and providing the highest possible standard of medical and pastoral care for their students.

They are seeking a registered nurse with a nursing degree and current registration on sub part 1 or 2 with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. Experience in both primary care and secondary care with skills in the treatment of minor injuries and illnesses are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to, communicate with and care for young people of all nationalities and religions are fundamental, as are strong leadership skills and the ability to deliver a complete medical service to very high standards. Significant experience at management/supervisory level is essential plus experience of boarding school nursing or children's nursing is desirable. A full clean driving licence is also essential.

Salary within NHS Band 6 /7, dependent on skills, experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, other benefits include the provision of a meal when on duty, a defined contribution pension scheme, income protection and life assurance schemes.
