They are looking for a hardworking and ambitious individual, who can support the full life cycle of grants, with a proactive and forward thinking mind set.
Main responsibilities include:
Monitoring spending and activity implementation and ensure regular scheduling of grants management meetings
Maintaining internal tools that track active grants , cost recoveries and cash balances, ensuring they are kept up-to-date
Reviewing budgets for concepts or proposals
Supporting the preparation, review and submission process for donor financial reports
Assisting in the preparation, support, and follow up of internal or external grant audits and expenditure verification's The successful candidate will:
Have good interpersonal, customer care and liaison skills
Be able to work under pressure and manage a heavy work load, working towards tight deadlines
Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Be ACCA/ACA/CIMA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
