An Account Manager opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious individual to join my FMCG Client who is a leader in its category.
The successful Account Manager will have the opportunity to develop & lead commercial strategies on specific accounts, managing the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met and exceeded. You will manage sales and contribution forecast processes on a monthly basis to direct the site as to the position against the agreed budget for the year, and ensure that JBP plans are tracked with Buyers, proactively reviewing progress & identifying areas of underperformance to implement relevant corrective actions. You will also have the opportunity to take responsibility for certain customers/categories that are supplied across multiple sites within the division.
Required experience, skills & knowledge;
Experience of working in a similar role from within own label chilled food manufacturing
Excellent communication and influencing skills, resilient & driven, commercially astute with a track record of delivering on sales and contribution
Understanding of category and consumer insight to help drive commercial opportunities
Used to thriving in a fast paced deadline focused working environment, successfully handling multiple tasks & objectives at one time
Role is mobile however expectation is site 2-3 days per week (East Midlands), customer/store 1 day per week.
