Senior Finance Business Partner - Controlling
Our Head Office Controlling Department is looking for a proactive, analytical, management accounting professional to join our team and partner with internal stakeholders across the business locally and internationally.
The Controlling Department provides support to executive management and operational departments with relevant key performance indicators for targeted management of all business processes within the company. If you are accomplished finance professional and your proven technical and organisational skills leave you standing out from the crowd, this may be the ideal position for you!
Please note: this is a Senior Business Partner position but your contractual job title would be "Team Manager" in line with our internal role structures.
What you'll do
Manage and help develop a small team of Business Partners
Act as a Business Partner for national departments and contact person for international departments
Supporting executive management and operational departments
Monitoring and analysing KPIs, thereby identifying risks, errors, problems and improvement opportunities
Manipulating and interpreting large sets of business data using the Business Intelligence Software
Designing advanced reports and tools used by various areas in the business that would help improving decision making and performance
Creating country-specific reports
Planning and forecasting of costs, investments and KPIs
Monitoring & detailed P&L analysis
Conducting quality assurance of systems
Developing and analysing audited areas
Implementing international standards
Assisting in Financial assessments of business activities and projects
What you'll need
FP&A experience is essential for this role
Qualified Accountant -ACCA,ACA or CIMA
Previous experience working with departments outside of Finance and managing stakeholders
Broad & solid reporting experience
Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a team
Able to work on projects independently with a strong problem-solving ability
Ability to influence decisions at C-suite level
A proven aptitude for data analysis
Advanced Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word and Excel / VBA skills
An organised multitasker that is able to prioritise their workload and able to meet tight deadlines whilst achieving results
A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
German language speaking skills (advantageous)
An innovator rather than an administrator, who is able to deliver the final product in a quality fashion
