Learning Support Assistant
An 'outstanding' Ofsted rated, special educational needs school in Thornbury, Bristol, are looking for 3 x proactive Learning Support Assistants to work in a nurturing environment at the schools primary site. The roles are full-time opportunities, working hours, Monday- Friday, 08:30-15:30, starting in September 2021.
The pupils at the school are aged between 5-11, (working at a primary aged level) and will require holistic support, care and intervention care to support them within the classroom and school settings.
You will support your pupils on both a 1:1 and group basis with Severe Learning Difficulties and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties. You will adhere to each pupil's educational health-care plan (EHCP), alongside the classroom teacher, carers and parents to develop self-independence in your pupils.
Being proactive to support each pupil's individual needs, managing challenging behaviours and building strong relationships to create a stimulating learning environment. What we can offer you:

We're offering fantastic pay between £310.00-£373.75 a week.
