This business has thrived during lockdown. Can you say the same for your career?

After the last year, you'll realise the importance of being employed in the right industry. An industry that will offer you security is good but being in one that is projected to boom will be even better. Here's your chance.

You'll join this company in their newly created role of Assistant Accountant. You'll report to the Finance Director, with one Finance Assistant as part of the team - that's Stage 1 of the Group Finance Structure.

With the development that is planned for you here, you'll be excited to know that they've already mapped out the finance organisational chart for Stage 2, 3 and even Stage 4 of their continued growth. With the right ambition, attitude, and advancement of your skills, by Stage 4 you'll achieve promotion to Accountant.

You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks including processing and analysing debit notes, raising credit notes, processing intercompany invoice's and reconciling statements, along with assisting with month-end analysis. You will have experience with preparing financial statements ready to send to the company accountant.

You will have an outgoing personality and excellent communications skills, integrating well with the management team is an important factor to be successful in this role.

In time, you'll manage a team that will take care of the day-to-day financial administration but for now, you'll need to be prepared to roll your sleeves and get stuck in.

You'll have completed AAT Level 4, or you'll be working towards a chartered accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA). However, if you consider yourself considered "qualified by experience", we're also interested to hear from you.

Right now, the company uses Sage 50 Accounts so it will be useful if you've used Sage, as well as bringing your recent experience of processing payroll weekly and monthly and completing VAT returns.

This is one of the best opportunities we've seen for some time, so if you feel now may be the right time to reignite your career, please click "apply" now.
