About the team:

Our Segment Accounting team based in Manchester are responsible for the legacy Worldpay entities. The team prepare, analyse and report the financial results of the business in a well-controlled, accurate and timely manner. They work closely with the entire business to ensure we can meet our financial commitments and performance targets. The key objectives are to deliver the numbers, help to grow the business and manage and control by ensuring we have good governance in place.

What you will be doing

The role will be responsible for delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. You will take ownership of revenue support for the Merchant International business. You will also support on projects and process improvements and software testing for new reporting systems to drive continuous improvements to improve month end processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of segment accounting products within our Merchant International, UK Ledger
  • Managing our North America Revenue Accounting and UK Ledger
  • Creation of reports to FP&A stakeholders
  • Analysis of Revenue trends
  • Project work outside of BAU including Radar
  • Project support for process improvements and new reporting systems

What you bring:

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Experience of revenue accounting
  • An interest in understanding complex systems and working with large volumes of data
  • Oracle General Ledger and Sub Ledger experience
  • Advanced Excel Skills and reporting

Added bonus if you have:
  • Experienced in continuous process improvements
  • Microsoft Access database building and reporting
  • SOX experience
