LOCATION: working from home

CONTRACT: Initial 3 month contract, with the possibility of extension, subject to available courses.

COURSE DETAILS: Introduction to Swahili course to be taught in the evenings over 10 weeks at 1.5 hrs per week starting in October 2021 (day and time TBC according to the successful candidate availability). The course will be delivered online using Zoom and Google Classroom.

In addition to the above course, we are also looking to recruit Swahili Tutors for our Talent Bank, teaching classes from beginners through to advanced (daytime, evening and weekend).

We are currently teaching all of our Languages classes online.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and innovative Swahili Tutor who can plan, teach and evaluate the above online course, meeting the learning needs of students in the programme area.

The ideal applicant will have advanced level Swahili with the ability to converse at native speaker level, to meet the progression needs of the students. A teaching qualification is also essential.

Training on zoom and Google Classroom will be provided but prior experience of online teaching would be advantageous.
