Compass Life Sciences are proudly working in partnership with a global Biotech company supporting in their search to appoint a Regional Account Manager for the North West London area. This is a key role ensuring optimal uptake of brands from our clients Osteoporosis and Cardiology products. In this key region for the organisation, our client is looking for someone who has previous experience in this region and has a genuine passion for the work they do, ensuring the right products get to those who need it!
In this position your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting analysis and assessment of accounts to ensure an understanding of issues, key brand advocates, stakeholders, health priorities, Commissioning, procurement activities, AHSNs, ICS's and/or regional networks.
You will input into the prioritisation of customers to refine segmentation plans.
Produce a plan of action to ensure achievement of account priorities and regional and national brand strategy.
Liaise with key internal stakeholders in preparation of account plans to ensure alignment and prioritisation of activities.
Support with relevant teams in the identification of opinion leaders and develop engagement plans.
Ensure all activities agreed within the account plans are implemented to completion within time, cost, and compliance and quality constraints.
Translate national plans of the business to develop a regional plan of action.
Develop metrics for success and track progress relative to targets.
You will maintain effective collaboration within own and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, progress updates and knowledge share.
As this is a strategically important role for the business in a prime region, the ideal candidate for the opportunity should possess the following:
Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
A proven track record of consistently high performance in a hospital sales/payor environment, preferably with Cardiovascular and/or Bone Health experience.
Experience in selling Biologic and/or High Cost Speciality medicines preferred.
Extensive knowledge of and existing relationships with key budget partners in the region
Experience of securing formularies within the evolving NHS and developing/enhancing treatment pathways to ensure optimal patient flow and maximise prescribing opportunities.
