Business Development Executive Opportunity:
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our internal sales team in Tamworth as a Business Development Executive. The role will focus on generating new business, following up on new business leads generated by our digital platform and growing sales to an existing customer list
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
Using tenacity, commitment to hitting targets and demonstrating pro-activity on a daily basis, we are looking for someone who will be instrumental in developing a credible opportunity pipeline and growing sales profitably.
The successful candidate will need to be personable, be able to communicate with a wide range of customers and have a proven track record in a sales role.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an area of the business that has seen considerable investment in the last 3 years.
This is a key role within a growing area of the business and must be able to work as part of a team supporting our Marketing and Commercial functions.
What we are looking for:
To be successful in this role you’ll need to be proactive and sales motivated with an inquisitive nature and desire to learn. Specific product training relevant to the role will be provided to help you build the knowledge you will need to succeed.
Dealing with customers over the phone must be something you are comfortable with and enjoy as proactively following up on leads and orders will be an essential part of the role. Also, a familiarity with other communication methods and social media platforms would be advantageous.
Commercial awareness from previous roles would be an advantage, however, a keen eye for numbers, the ability to understand and interpret data to drive decisions is essential.
Above all, you should demonstrate a passion for sales, the desire to develop new business and build yourself a career in sales.
