This specialist residential setting local to Bedford is looking for a Registered Manager to join their team ASAP on a full time, permanent basis (40hours a week). This setting in question is situated near Bedford and boasts a welcoming and modern site. The setting supports approx. 5+ children and young people from the age of 6 years upwards. Young people at this setting have Complex needs including EBD and Autism. You will be running the home as your own and in charge of the quality of care, running of the service and the responsibility of each placement. The setting has a long standing Deputy and senior team that can support in the new managers transition. This role is needed due to the current manager being promoted in the company. The existing team are passionate and dedicated and are invested in offering a safe and supportive environment for the children. This setting is invested in all their staff members and their training and development and is a fabulous setting to work in. As this is a residential setting applicants for this post must be available do shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Due to the location of this setting own transport will be required.

All applicants for this position must have the following requirements to be considered:
Level 4 or 5 NVQ in leadership and management (must have)
Level 3 Diploma in childrens residential care (desirable not essential)
Relevant care management experience/ Deputy managers with atleast 2 years experience will be considered (Must be able to provide references)
