Due to a restructure, this well established, boutique and highly profitable Digital Marketing agency are on the hunt for a new Managing Director to take the reins. Set up over 20 years ago, the tight knit team of 7 punch well above their weight, with big names on their client roster in the B2B tech space. The operate internationally across 16 markets, delivering campaigns across digital advertising, content creation and events, to brand development, product and channel marketing.

Description

The Managing Director role will sit across client services, new business, operations and team management. Due to the nature of the role, the ideal candidate will offer previous agency exposure and solid P&L experience. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing strategic direction of client accounts, advising on strategy and fostering long term relationships
  • Driving agency revenue by identifying new opportunities and fostering organic growth
  • Developing business dev strategy and tactics alongside the board, to drive the growth of the business
  • Lead on all new business proposals and pitches
  • Ownership of all P&L, financials and commercials - c.£4m turnover
  • Manage and develop the existing team, whilst ensuring all processes are running effectively
  • Lead the recruitment of new talent alongside the agencies growth
  • Motivate, inspire and empower the team to take ownership of their remit, whilst supporting them on an ongoing basis
  • Create a culture of fresh thinking, collaboration and inclusivity

Profile

The successful Managing Director will offer previous experience of working in an Agency environment, ideally with 7 figure accounts. All round integrated marketing experience would be preferred. Impeccable strategic business planning skills and exceptional track record of driving client growth, along with previous commercial management experience would be highly advantageous.

In addition, the Managing Director will offer:
  • Effective team management capabilities to support high performance

  • A demonstrable ability to grow revenue through organic growth and new business
  • Experience driving positive client satisfaction scores
  • An ability to manage complex client budgets and track in minute detail
