Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are recruiting a 'ModificationsTechnician' for a rail company based in Manchester, Longsight

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work for a company that has become an international market leader in the design, manufacture, maintenance, and supply of equipment and components for rail systems. The Company has a significant presence throughout the UK.

Location (s):

Longsight

Manchester

Role and Responsibilities:

·Fault finding and diagnosing of train systems

·Carrying out general electrical modifications on the trains

·Gather evidence of faults and carry out general inspections

The Candidate

Ideally, the candidate will have heavy engineering and/or rolling stock experience. Also will have experience with modifications on heavy engineering projects.

Essentials

·NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in an engineering discipline or similar

·Heavy engineering experience

·Previous modifications experience

Desirable

·Rolling Stock / Aviation Experience

·Electrically biased
