The Bank Workers Charity is one of the oldest benevolent charities in the UK. Today the charity exists to support the health and wellbeing of current and former bank employees. It has grown in size, impact and profile over recent years and enjoys an outstanding reputation for the support it provides to its community. It provides access to support for those experiencing difficulties in areas including mental health, disability and money management through its team of advisers and caseworkers, provides financial assistance, and a range of online support tools. It has evolved to become a dynamic and innovative service charity, engaged with the core issues and challenges facing its community, thought leaders on Wellbeing within the sector, and innovative in its approach to reaching more people and deepening its impact.
The charity is looking to appoint an exceptional new Chief Executive to lead the next chapter. The Chief Executive will work with a talented team and engaged board to develop an ambitious and progressive strategy that will deliver greater profile for the work, and greater reach and impact to the community.
The new Chief Executive will bring leadership experience, a track record of building successful partnerships, excellent communications skills and people management skills, and most of all genuine interest in working for positive change and the national wellbeing agenda.
