Step Teachers are working with a large secondary school in North London that are seeking a strong Teacher of English to join their successful English department. This position is available on a full-time basis and will for a minimum of one academic year. This post will be teaching English up to GCSE.

To apply for the role of English Teacher, you must be an enthusiastic and outstanding practitioner. Applicants will also:
  • Have QTS in addition to a relevant degree (English, Journalism, Creative Writing etc.)
  • Be able to demonstrate a passion for the subject and translate this into your teaching
  • Have a wide and varied range of engaging teaching methods
  • Utilise a diverse range of effective classroom management strategies

The school itself is a large secondary school located in the London Borough of Haringey, situated close to the North Circular it's well served by both road and public transport.
