Our highly successful international law firm client is seeking to recruit a Marketing & Business Development Manager to support their Corporate group globally. This role can be based either in their London or Jersey offices. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Business Development, responsibilities will include: To support the M&BD Director in creating the annual M&BD plans and budgets for Investment Funds, Banking & Finance Corporate practice groupsEnsure the completion of all the key initiatives in each of the practice plans, including participating in regular progress reviews with the relevant M&BD partner leadsWith the M&BD Director, drive the process of individual partner M&BD plans, ensuring alignment to the firmwide plansManage and implement all initiatives to remain within practice area budgetsOversee the planning and implementation of physical events, webinars, seminars and client hospitality for the relevant practice teamsAttend and network at events as requiredLead post event analysisLead on the creation and submission of legal directories for relevant practice areas, working with the partners and lawyers as requiredEnsure an up-to-date and comprehensive suite of practice area collateral to include website, brochures, service sheets, team sheets and personal profiles.Support on production of bids and pitches as requiredDevise and oversee implementation of targeted marketing campaigns for the relevantpractice areas using a range of CRM and e-marketing software toolsCoach, develop and mentor two team members The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a legal or professional services marketing team, will of graduate level and ideally will be CIM-qualified. Experience of working with CRM and marketing systems is preferred. You must have excellent attention to detail, along with first class communication and organisational skills.
