An excellent opportunity has arisen to work on a permanent basis for a well established and reputable owner managed business based near Downham Market, Norfolk.
Working alongside the existing team, you will be required to take responsibility for the Sales Ledger and Credit Control function, reporting to the Finance Manager.
Duties typically include:
Raising sales invoices
Ensuring correct invoices are issued according to job cards
Carrying out credit checks for new customers
Entering all information for new customers on to the system
Allocating payments to ledger
Issue customer statements
Issuing debtor reports to update Finance Manager
Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers
Adhoc duties as required to support the team

Previous experience working in a similar role within an owner managed business is essential
Relevant accounting qualification would be desirable
Resilient and hard working individual
Team player with a flexible attitude
IT Literate, ideally with Sage 50 or 200

This is a fully office based role, with working hours of 8 - 5 (1 hour for lunch), and due to location, own transport will be essential.
