What you'll do

As Optivo's Trainee Solicitor, you'll have a fantastic opportunity to benefit from the knowledge and experience of colleagues in our Legal Services team on your way to becoming a qualified solicitor.

While working with us you'll be able to provide a high level of legal services to Optivo in line with our standards and CORE values.

You'll undertake a wide range of duties under the supervision of experienced lawyers in our team and manage your own caseload on behalf of Optivo and its Group partners in the Litigation and Property & Contracts branches of our team.

This role requires you to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, external contacts and partners. There will also be opportunities to do a variety of contentious and non-contentious work that an organisation the size of Optivo offers. All within a friendly and supportive team.

This role is based in our Grosvenor House Office in Croydon. You'll also be required to travel to all of Optivo's other offices occasionally.

What you'll need

As Optivo's Trainee Solicitor you would've completed and passed the Legal Practice Course

You'll have excellent IT skills (in particular Microsoft Office suite and Outlook). You'll also have the ability to present information in a variety of forms to a high standard with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You'll consistently strive to learn and develop and seek feedback to help improve your knowledge, skills and performance. All with the enthusiasm for providing an excellent service to make sure your client is always satisfied with the results.
