This key role is with a successful, well established private equity backed manufacturer of precision engineered components focused primarily on the aerospace and power generation sectors. It has a strong pipeline of current and future business with the primary site due for relocation to a new facility in the immediate future.

Reporting to the CEO and as a member of the senior leadership team, this position carries responsibility for all operations and it will appeal to a world class professional experienced in lean manufacturing, business transformation and the further development of a continuous improvement culture through mentoring, coaching and the leadership of an experienced team. The client is looking forward to maintaining its year-on-year growth through further investments in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and the maintenance of its commercially competitive approach in the marketplace.

A high quality impressive individual with the ability to make it to MD level in the medium term is required. Graduate qualified, you will have built your formative career in recognised world-class manufacturing environments in which the use of world-class lean tools and techniques is the norm. You will have subsequently progressed into precision batch manufacturing environments at Operations Director level, ideally in SME's and experience in a private equity culture would also be beneficial. You will be on an upward trajectory in your career and be able to demonstrate your continuous improvement and change management milestones and importantly also your potential to grow to Managing Director level in the medium term.

Experience in aerospace components manufacturing is preferred, including exposure to aerospace customers and if not aerospace, precision OEM components manufacturing will be required.
