Our central Manchester based client school is looking to recruit a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them at the beginning of October. This full-time support position is to start on Monday 4th October once the students have started back and certain levels have been assessed with the possibility of commencing sooner for the right candidate who is available.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will report to the school's SENCO and be given a specific cohort of pupil premium students to support within mainstream classes. The role of this SEN Teaching Assistant will include general support of students with needs such as Autism, ADHD, and general behaviour management. Intervention will also be a part of this SEN Teaching Assistant's role supporting teachers in English and Humanities lessons with opportunity to support in Maths and other subjects.
Any individuals with transferable skills of working with young people who have special educational needs (SEN) are encouraged to apply now for consideration. This central Manchester based secondary school is located close to the city centre. The metrolink tram also services the school well with the tram stop being a short walk away from the school.
