Given successful business development and growth, this firm is recruiting for Indirect Tax specialists at the level of Assistant Manager or Manager to join its approximately 200-strong National Compliance & Technology Team. A forward thinking firm, various working arrangements will be considered, such as full-time and part-time hours as well as individuals who wish to be part-office based or largely remote on a permanent basis. Your new role
Joining a well-established and growing National and Technology Compliance Team made up of Corporate and Indirect Tax specialists, you will work with an enviable and diverse range of clients, from multinationals to smaller mid-tier clients across various sectors. You primary responsibility is to ensure your portfolio of customers meet their Indirect Tax compliance requirements whilst maintaining strong client relationships. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in global VAT compliance projects and advise clients on compliance-related issues, such as e-filing, overseas registrations and impact on new overseas Indirect Tax legislation. In order to do so, you will complete engagement planning with clients, review and submit returns, completing exceptions reports and financial analysis; all involving regular contact with the client, over the phone, email and video conference. You will also identify opportunities for additional services and contribute to process improvement, as well as manage more junior staff members, ensuring work is completed in line with deadlines and in budget.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record delivering Indirect Tax compliance, in either a practice or in-house capacity. You will therefore have good VAT technical knowledge, ideally relating to EMEA, as well as excellent communication and organisation skills.
