Protocol Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in an outstanding special needs school that will be located in New Addington in Croydon. This exciting project will offer all candidates the chance to be trained exclusively to the school and enable you to successfully support students aged from early years to year 8. As a special needs school, you will be required to work with SEND that includes autism, severe learning difficulties and sensory disorders. As a teaching assistant you will be required to support students on a one to one basis, differentiate work to meet the students needs, implement strategies for students to overcome sensory overload, manage heightened behaviours and assist the class teacher.
