Boyd Recruitment are currently working with a large civil engineering contractor to help them source an experienced HSE Manager on a permanent basis for a key project.
The company have a wealth of experience in the civil engineering sector and have always been a stable employer with a healthy pipeline of projects.
In light of their current workload, they are looking to add a HSE Manager with a background in civil engineering.
You can expect a competitive base salary (£45,000 - £50,000), vehicle or car allowance, phone, laptop, bonus & pension.
As HSE Manager, you will be working closely with the site teams and clients to ensure best practices for all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
The role will involve the following:
Create, implement and maintain HSE procedures and manuals to ensure regulatory compliance
Management of internal and external audits including closing out audit findings
Create reports on findings and determine corrective and preventative actions
The successful individual will have previous involvement in large civil engineering projects with £10m+ contract values. A strong civil engineering background within HSE is essential.
You must be able to form collaborative relationships with the site team/client and help organise a fast-paced and complex project.
