Hays Education are looking to recruit exceptional KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistants to expand our local pool of class teaching assistants in the East London area (Tower Hamlets, Newham, Redbridge & Barking and Dagenham). You will be working across Primary schools and Nurseries on a day-to-day basis all within the East area of London. We welcome all KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistants with various background and experience available starting now and in September 2021. The hourly rate is between £10.50 to £12.10.
As the new academic year will be coming quickly, schools are eager to recruit experienced and passionate teaching assistants with the ability to create an enjoyable learning environment and support pupils across KS1-KS2 effectively. You will be supporting children on a group, 1:1 basis or as a whole class. You will be required to work closely with class teachers and the SENCo in the tailoring of class lessons to ensure that the key children you are assigned to are supported and educated most effectively.
Proven track record working in a Primary school in UK with a minimum of 1 years' experience as a Teaching Assistant
Support the pupils academically across the KS1 and KS2 National
Provide extra support and care to pupils with Special Education Needs
1:1 basis for students requiring extra language and academic support
Familiar with learning development techniques, i.e. PECS, Makaton, Visual Timetables, Colourful Semantics
Strong communication skills and building rapport with children
Confident with the UK National Curriculum
Hold an Enhanced DBS dated in the last 3 years
