A successful and rapidly growing Ed-tech scale up is seeking a Head of Marketing, paying up to £60,000 plus a generous benefits package, to join their ambitious team and own the complete marketing function of the business.

The role will be working remotely, with the occasional travel to the office or corporate events once a month.

The role will work closely with the Head of Sales to increase inbound lead generation to the business, and further capitalise on the market. At the moment this very much comes from existing relationships, work of mouth and advertising, but they are looking to increase this through targeted and strategic marketing campaigns.

To be successful in the role you will have experience with B2B marketing with some B2C. With the ability to think strategically. You will set and own the marketing strategy for how they generate new inbound leads through content such as case studies, blogs and webinars that engage the target audience to support partnerships and to build the brand. You will need strong commercial awareness to understand the market positioning.

Duties include:

Work with the Head of Business Development on lead generation strategy, build the marketing strategy and own the implementation of the marketing strategy
Own the production of marketing material and write copy (blogs, client case studies and webinars) and work with the business development team on distribution of the content
Manage and grow social media to engage new leads and existing accounts as well as building the brand
Manage the website, including publishing new content and maintaining key messaging and copy
Work collaboratively with the New Business and Accounts teams to share knowledge and insight on the market
Any other related duties as required by the businessThe ideal candidate will come from a tech background and have background running a B2B marketing function of a large organisation. You will have the ability to own and create strategic marketing campaigns all the way through from conception to ROI analysis. Ability to write content for blogs, webinars and case studies etc. as well as owning and developing the website copy to drive inbound leads. Experience in growing a marketing function, looking at both revenue and building a team. Self-motivated with the ability to work to targets and deadlines as well as open to self-development.
