Are you the type of person who can think on their feet? Can you help customers deal with problems in an empathetic and postive manner?

We are recruiting for a Helpdesk Operator for a leading facilities management company - operating from their offices in Bristol (initially, some home working may be required due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic), their reactive Helpdesk takes calls from clients across the UK, reporting maintenance and facilities issues.

The Helpdesk Operators in this team provide an essential and invaluable service on a 24/7 basis - due to the essential (and key worker) nature of this companies customers, the Helpdesk Operators work with high speed and efficiency to take and record all maintenance requuest calls, communicate with suppliers, engineers and subcontractors, and close down work requests as they are completed.

Candidates who are best suited to this kind of environment are those who can operate with a high level of empathy whilst not compromising efficiency - there are often strict service levels in place which means reacting to each request in terms of priority, and organising the best response possible to complete the maintenance request. Candidates who have worked in a helpdesk capacity in the past and are used to dealing with technical requests and scheduling engineers will be prioritised.

The role will involve working on a three shift basis - earlies, afternoons and nights - on a rotating shift plan. Due to the location of the office, if you have your own transport this will be useful.
