CLIENT: Authentic retailer of Swiss watch brands
SALARY: Good £salary + c.10% bonus potential

Operating differing boutique concepts across three continents our client has a specialist retail division selling predominantly own-produced watch & jewellery selections to fit all budgets & wishes. One area of market presence is that of locating such Boutiques within outlet centres that offer a range of brands and models from previous collections at reduced prices.

All on site aim to communicate the emotion and passion that being at the forefront of the Swiss watchmaking industry commands. Delivering a seamlessly enjoyable, informative, and successful purchasing experience is the mission of this dynamic store team and we now need YOU!

When within your store space you are ever vigilant to ensure brand display/merchandising standards are never comprised.

*

Ever sales conscious you are keen to play your part to ensure sales revenues are achieved over each targeted sales time frame. This is not limited to in-person shoppers - those who contact this speciality retailer either online or by telephone must equally receive best boutique customer service.

*

You are ever mindful of ensuring all is secure in-store and you will be a stickler for following exact store operational best protocols. This extends to the area of cash handling and payment transactions where again all should be handled in an equally responsible manner.

*

Health & safety standards are ever an area that are under scrutiny and total compliance is expected - this applies not just to front of house but also staff non-selling areas as well.

*

In addition to your store sales responsibility this appointee would also assume keyholder status in short offering invaluable store management support. It maybe that in their absence store opening & closing will fall to yourself alongside ensuring continuity of team motivation.

*

There could also be wider operational challenge such as stock management, after sales & service and being the occasional lead boutique email communicator to either customers or head office.

*

Training schedules (brand & technical) are available to ensure that your horological knowledge is as ever of 'top order.'

Requirements:

*

Ideally for this role our client would wish individuals to have a watch / jewellery or prestige retail background.

*

The world of luxury goods must inwardly appeal, and you understand the responsibility of operating within this arena.

*

You are well attuned to making every purchasing experience memorable - you are naturally pre-disposed to retaining pertinent product and brand information and you are generous when it comes to relaying functionality and brand stories to all.

*

Of course, at such a location flexibility to accommodate set store opening hours is a must as is the occasional need to extend your work schedule as trading may demand.

*

It may be helpful to be able to communicate in other languages (such as Mandarin/Arabic) of more importance though is having experience with dealing with international customers.

*

You are communicationally fluent, the consummate professional at all times and irrelevant to whom you are conversing with - clarity, professionalism and respect must be evident at all times.

The above is very much a key placement within the boutique team - it is absolutely a sales floor selling role with the added spectre of being able to step up as & when required to a supervisory level to lend & give required management team the support that periodically is required on certain key tasks.
