Job Details

Croydon College is seeking a highly motivated, student-focused progress coach with good administrative skills, to deliver tutorials on our young people vocational programmes onsite. The role will involve tutoring students using a comprehensive programme that will develop employability, social/personal skills and enhance learner progression opportunities through different strategies to support individual student needs, including monitoring attendance. Successful candidate will also supervise independent study for a number of learners.

You would be expected to use a variety of learning strategies, and provide students with appropriate support in accordance with the programme and individual requirements. You would be supporting students at our School of Building, Engineering and Technical Professions.

You must have a Literacy and Numeracy qualification, at or above Level 2 and a teaching qualification would also be an advantage.

Our students come from diverse backgrounds and the programme offers access to a wide range of career options. The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, organised and flexible. Good interpersonal skills, a willingness to work collaboratively within a team, and the ability to provide high quality student support are essential.
