Senior Asset Management Instrument Static Data Analyst

FJR Finance is representing a global City-based Asset Manager to hire a permanent Senior Asset Management Instrument Static Data Analyst to join their Static Data team. The company is a very successful global company and the department is a very busy area and a critical support function to their Front Office.

Working as part of their London Operations group, the chosen candidate must have a strong working knowledge of Instrument Static Data, ideally having strong working knowledge setting up a wide range of traded instruments including Equities, Fixed Income, FX/ MM, CFD's, OTC Derivatives (Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Derivatives), Futures & Options and Loans.

You will be fully responsible for setting-up all instruments/ products and supporting the front office Fund Managers for any related Data requests. In addition the role involves the daily Pricing of a broad range and different investment asset-classes, as well as lots of related project work. For example, the company adopt an Agile methodology for all projects, so you will be working closely with their IT team to deliver process improvements, systems testing and upgrades etc. The % split from BAU Vs Projects will increase after the 1st 6-months.

This is a very busy department with high volume Data requirements across various different systems including Bloomberg, Markit EDM, Neoxam ideally a minimum of 2-years relevant experience.

Our client is looking for a strong Instrument Static Data Analyst, ideally from either an Investment Management, or Hedge Fund background, but would also be open to Static Data experience from a larger Investment Banking background too.
